FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are your suggestions for taking the best photos for designs?2019-09-27T20:16:39-06:00
  1. We recommend using an SLR camera, not a mobile device as most do not maintain high enough quality.
  2. Take the photos with the highest .JPG (.JPEG) resolution and quality setting that is available on the camera.
  3. Get as close to the subject as allow, but do NOT crop the original photos. We prefer to have the option of working with the player from head to toe with all limbs in the photo. We can remove the background or zoom in, if we need to do that for the design.
What quality and format of my photos do you need?2019-09-27T19:32:53-06:00
  1. We recommend using an SLR camera, not a mobile device as most do not maintain high enough quality.
  2. Take the photos with the highest .JPG (.JPEG) resolution and quality setting that is available on the camera.
  3. Send us the original files from the camera unedited in a high-res JPG (preferably 300 dpi) format. That way we have the highest quality possible to work with for the design.
How do I send my files to you?2019-10-23T08:27:03-06:00

Please follow these directions closely to prevent any processing delays with your files.

  1. Send us the original files from the camera unedited in a high-res JPG (preferably 300 dpi) format. That way we have the highest quality possible to work with for the design.
  2. Please place all the ORIGINAL files (photos and logos) in a folder for sharing. Please note that sending lower quality files can result in showing pixelation, artifacts, and/or blurriness in the final product.
  3. Name any player file with the – .jpg (Ex. John Smith – 13.jpg)
  4. Please use Dropbox, Google Drive, or WeTransfer to share the folder. Share the Dropbox or Google Drive folder (NOT individual files) or send the WeTransfer folder link to files@frenzy-designs.com. Please note that after we download any files, we are NOT able to monitor any file repository folders for updates or changes.

Please DO NOT send comments or communication to the files@frenzy-designs.com email address. It is used solely to catalog and organize files into our order management system. Please send comments or concerns to the team@frenzy-designs.com.  Thanks for your help with this.

Will you remove the background of my photos?2019-09-27T20:17:05-06:00

Yes, we remove the background when it is not used in the design.

What format of my logo do you need for designs?2019-09-27T20:16:08-06:00

In our efforts to provide the best quality possible, we always pursue it in a vector format (EPS, AI) to help maintain the highest quality possible.  Depending on the size of your product, a high resolution file (JPG, PNG, TIFF) will sometimes work with minimal problems.  We do NOT recommend pulling the logo from a web site.  Most of those images are smaller and do not maintain the needed quality.  We also can not use a photo or scan of the logo, only digital files.

What is the turnaround time for proofs?2019-09-27T20:49:10-06:00

We offer 3 different proofing options, depending on your needed turnaround time and budget.  Once we have the order with all the necessary files (photos and logos), the order is assigned to a graphic designer to start the initial proofing process.

  1. Normal – This method is free with the initial digital proof  estimated to be ready in 3-5 business days for your review and approval in most circumstances.
  2. 2-Day (Express) – There is a $35 fee with the initial digital proof being ready in 2 business days.  There is a maximum of up to 5 individual items or 1 team item per proofing package.
  3. 1-Day (Overnight) – There is a $50 fee with the initial digital proof being ready in 1 business day.  There is a maximum of up to 5 individual items or 1 team item per proofing package.

We are only able to guarantee proofing for our expedited services.  Any time you need your items by a definite date, we would highly recommend using our expedited services to help meet that date.  The timeframe provided for normal proofing is only estimated, but can change to be sooner or later based on the expedited order schedule and production demand, especially during our peak seasons.

Can you guarantee specific dates?2019-10-11T19:05:35-06:00

We do note dates on orders and do everything on our side to keep the order process moving to prevent delays.  Unfortunately, there are too many dynamics and customer decisions that can impact the workflow, so we do not give specific dates or agree to future dates.  We provide timeline information based on our normal turnaround times and guarantees of any expedited services ordered.  That allows the customer to make the necessary choices for their timeframe and budget.

Does the banner have grommets or pole pockets?2019-10-11T19:41:20-06:00

Our vinyl banners have hemmed edges for extra strength with metal grommets punched every 2-3 feet with eyelets in each corner.

On request, we can provide pole pockets (top or bottom or both) for a small fee.

Whether grommets or pole pockets, they are printed at 600 dpi in full color on 14 oz high tenacity polyester vinyl with UV inks to provide outdoor bright and vivid long lasting colors. The banners have exceeded the minimum requirements of the flame resistance established by the NFPA 701 test.
